Hi Everyone,
My name is Kim, and I think I was born a Disney girl from day one! When friends ask me why I enjoy Disney so much, I have to stop myself from overexpressing my complete and utter joy with what I feel is the most magical place on Earth. There is nowhere else that brings me the same sense of calm and joy that I always experience at Disney.
My first trip to Disney World came about when I was only 9 months old, and my mom and dad took me and my 6-year-old sister to Disney on a family vacation. The joy we all shared on that vacation must have been set deep within all of us because they constantly spoke of it for years to come as the best vacation ever. Obviously, I don’t remember that trip and my next trip to Disney World didn’t come until I was 16!
My aunt has taken a Disney vacation every year for the past 30 years. Her first trip was on her honeymoon and was repeated every year since with her family. On my 16th birthday, she took me along as well. That trip solidified my love for Disney! Coming from what I refer to as a “Disney Family” has instilled in me a complete and total love for all things Disney and has made it a regular vacation destination from that point on.
I have been to Disney so many times I’ve lost count, sometimes twice a year. I was also married right outside of Disney and my husband and I spent the next day enjoying Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. Currently, I am a mom to a 1&1/2-year-old daughter with another baby on the way, and I am already planning their first Disney vacation. Seeing it through their eyes will add to my joy and confirm what I already know: Disney World is special.
