Every theme park offers one morning and one evening per week when it is open to Resort guests ONLY. This not only means extra time in the parks, but you also get the added perk of having less crowds during those additional hours. Didn’t get that Fastpass for Peter Pan’s Flight? Go during Extra Magic Hours for a shorter wait time!
- A FASTPASS TO FASTPASS…
Speaking of Fastpasses, did you know that Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests get to book their Fastpasses a full 60 days in advance? That’s 30 days before they open up to the general public, meaning you get first pick of all of the top attractions! With popular rides such as Frozen Ever After, Toy Story Mania and Space Mountain being in such high demand, you’ll be thankful you took advantage of this one!
- MOVIES UNDER THE STARS
You have walked all day and now you’re looking to kick back and relax with the whole family. Why not cuddle up under the night sky and catch a favorite Disney movie? Every Walt Disney World Resort Hotel now offers Movies Under the Stars! These complimentary movie screenings are available to Resort guests and are a great way to unwind at the end of the day with a family favorite! Check with the Front Desk for the most up-to-date movie schedule and location at your resort.
- GIVE YOUR ARMS A REST!
You just walked into the Magic Kingdom and your kids have insisted on buying that GIGANTIC stuffed Mickey Mouse toy. They’re just too cute and too excited to say no to, but now what are you going to do with it all day?! Not to worry – as a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guest, you can send all packages right back to your hotel at (you guessed it) no additional cost! Simply let them know at the register that you would like hotel delivery, fill out a simple form and voila! your packages will be sent off to a centrally located pick up desk back at your resort!
- MAKE A SPECIAL OCCASION EVEN MORE SPECIAL
Did you know that Walt Disney World offers its own Floral and Gift delivery service? Never forget a birthday, anniversary or holiday again! This service is exclusive to Resort guests and offers a wide range of gift offerings from flowers and balloons to full indulgence packages. My family stayed at Disney’s Boardwalk Hotel on Valentine’s Day this year and I was greeted by chocolate cake, a balloon and a cooler full of Disney goodies from my very own Prince Charming. Needless to say, it was a huge hit!
- TRANSPORTATION. TRANSPORTATION. TRANSPORTATION!
Located approximately 25 minutes from the Orlando International Airport and covering nearly 40 square miles (roughly the size of San Francisco), figuring out how you are going to get to and around the Walt Disney World Resort may seem a bit challenging. Staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel allows you to do like Baloo and “forget about your worries and your strife!”
Starting at the airport, Resort guests are entitled to FREE transportation to and from their hotel on Disney’s Magical Express bus service! Once you hit Walt Disney World property, transportation between hotels and attractions is provided FREE as well. Grab a bus, board a boat or take a magical ride on Disney’s Monorail. Getting where you’re going is made incredibly simple.
Want to skip the transportation offerings and drive yourself? Parking for Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests is FREE! Just show proof of stay at the parking gate and you’re in!
- CHECK YOUR BAGS AT THE DOOR
When you just can’t wait to get to the parks or want to make sure to get one last ride in, the last thing you want to worry about is taking the time to transport and check your luggage. As a Resort guest, Disney will handle all of that for you! One of the best parts of Disney’s Magical Express service is that they will actually pick it up for you at baggage claim and deliver it straight to your hotel room! Later, when the final day of your vacation arrives, guests traveling on select airlines can actually check into their flight and check their luggage at the front of their hotel. It may not seem like much, but skipping the check in and bag drop line at the airport may just mean one more spin on the Tea Cups!
